The District Court on Saturday found ten people guilty of rioting near Yau Ma Tei during the 2019 unrest, while another defendant was found not guilty.
They were among about 200 arrested for participating in riots during a period of unrest at the Polytechnic University in November 2019.
All eleven, aged between 18 and 28, had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Prosecutors said the defendants shone laser pointers and threw various objects including petrol bombs at the police.
The ten who were found guilty are being held on remand. Sentencing has been adjourned to January 7 next year.
