Hong Kong stocks dropped more than one percent at the open on Thursday amid investor concern about the Covid situation on the mainland.
The Hang Seng Index fell 1.26 percent to 19,648, before recovering slightly in early trade.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.35 percent to 3,077, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange slipped 0.36 percent to 1,967. (AFP)
