A Hong Kong Express flight was forced to make a U-turn and return to Hong Kong shortly after take-off on Tuesday, after reporting abnormalities in cabin pressure.
Flight UO600, carrying 139 passengers and seven crew members, took off for Fukuoka in Japan at 7:45 am.
But it turned around soon after and landed back in Hong Kong at 9:32am, with no reports of injuries.
A replacement aircraft was subsequently arranged and has since departed for Fukuoka.
Hong Kong Express said it will conduct a thorough investigation into the matter.
