People travelling to Macau from the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan will no longer be required to obtain a negative Covid test result before their trip starting Sunday, local authorities announced on Thursday.
However, other foreign arrivals will still need to present a negative PCR result obtained within 48 hours of their visit.
The gambling hub also said it's doing away with restrictions imposed on foreign passport holders, mandatory health declaration at border control points, as well as health monitoring measures upon arrival.
The Macau International Airport, meanwhile, will resume its transfer and transit services.
