A woman died on Monday morning after being injured by a candy-making machine.

The accident happened at around 8am as the woman was working at an industrial centre in Tsuen Wan.

She was rushed to Yan Chai Hospital in an unconscious state and was later certified dead.

The Labour Department said it was conducting an investigation into the accident.
