China on Friday welcomed the return of search-and-rescue workers from quake-hit Turkey.
Team members from China, including those from Hong Kong, landed in Beijing on a charter flight.
They plucked to safety around ten survivors in their operations in southern Turkey.
Among those on hand for the welcome ceremony at the airport in Beijing were Chief Secretary Eric Chan, Secretary for Security Chris Tang and Director of Fire Services Andy Yeung, who flew to the capital from Hong Kong earlier in the day.
The three officials and the Hong Kong team are set to return to the SAR later on Friday.
The team from the mainland had 82 members while the SAR team had 59.
The powerful tremor last week has claimed more than 41,000 lives in Turkey and Syria.
