Hong Kong stocks started the week with healthy gains on Monday, in line with a rally across most of Asia, with help coming from a strong performance in mainland markets.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.8 percent, or 167 points, to 20,886.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 2.1 percent, or 66 points, to 3,290, while the Shenzhen Composite Index jumped 1.7 percent, or 36 points, to 2,161. (AFP)
