Financial Secretary Paul Chan began delivering his 2023 budget in the Legislative Council on Wednesday morning, the first under Chief Executive John Lee's administration.

The speech will give an insight into the state of the government's finances and the administration's economic priorities for the year ahead. Chan is also expected to deliver relief measures, as Hongkongers eye whether they will receive a new round of consumption vouchers.

The theme of this year's budget is "Leaping Forward Steadily, Together We Bolster Prosperity under Our New Vision".
