Three pedestrians were injured – two seriously - after being hit by a taxi in Fortress Hill on Sunday.
The accident took place at around 1pm when the vehicle was believed to have lost control while travelling down Fortress Hill Road towards King's Road.
It hit three pedestrians before smashing into a traffic light.
Two of the pedestrians were unconscious when they were taken to hospital, while one suffered mild injuries.
The 84-year-old taxi driver, as well as a passenger on board were also sent to hospital for treatment.
A salesperson at a nearby shop told RTHK that there was a huge bang when the accident happened, adding that one of the injured pedestrians was her colleague who had gone out to buy lunch.
Police are investigating the case.
