Queen Elizabeth Hospital said on Thursday that maintenance work is taking place at one of its staff changing rooms after potential risks with the ceiling were discovered.

This comes a day after the Hospital Authority said it was forming a committee to review a spate of recent incidents involving falling objects.

The hospital said engineers have found no structural problems with the changing room ceiling.

It added that photos being shared online of exposed reinforcement steel show the maintenance work in progress.
