Police on Saturday arrested a 75-year-old man for manslaughter following the death of a 74-year-old man after a fight at a Tai Kok Tsui care home. .

At 9.22pm Friday, the police received a report from a member of staff at the home on Ivy Street that the two elderly men were having a fist fight.

They said at one point the 74-year-old man fell to the ground.

Sustaining no superficial injuries, he was sent to Kwong Wah Hospital in a conscious state, but was certified dead at 10.06am on Saturday.

A post-mortem will be carried out to ascertain the cause of his death, and the Mong Kok District Crime Squad is investigating.

The elderly suspect is being held for enquiries.
