Lawyer and former legislator Albert Ho was on Wednesday remanded in custody, a day after his arrest by national security police on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
West Kowloon Court chief magistrate Victor So – a designated national security judge – revoked the bail Ho was given by the High Court last August as he awaits trial for allegedly inciting subversion.
Two other leaders of the now-disbanded Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements in China, Lee Cheuk-yan and Chow Hang-tung, face the same charge as Ho, as does the former group itself.
