A 57-year-old taxi driver died after passing out in his vehicle at the airport on Monday morning.

Police said the man, surnamed Lam, was found unconscious as his taxi was lining up for passengers at around 5am.

He was rushed to North Lantau Hospital where he was certified dead.

Officers said an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the cause of his death.
