Police on Monday arrested a 26-year-old man in Tseung Kwan O on suspicion of possessing weapons, after a domestic helper reported seeing a man with a knife on Po Hong Road this morning.

Several hours later, police detained a man on Tong Chun Street, recovering a paper knife.

A police spokesman said the man had a history of emotional illness.

He said the domestic helper was not hurt, and that the helper and the man did not know each other.
