Remanded suspect escapes from court over ID mix-up

RTHK has learnt that a suspect in a drug case escaped from West Kowloon Court by claiming to be another man.

The man, 37, was supposed to be remanded after appearing in court on Monday.

But he claimed to be another man who was granted bail in an assault case, and was let go.

Police are now hunting for the man.
