Buildings Department officers say corroded concrete caused part of a ceiling to fall down at a Fanling restaurant on Monday.

But they said there was no obvious danger to the overall structure of the building.

The owners must now submit a repair plan.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

The affected area was sealed off and the restaurant remains closed for business.
