Hong Kong shares ended sharply lower on Friday, tracking losses on Wall Street and in line with an Asia-wide selloff, with tech firms tracking their US counterparts lower as traders fret over further Federal Reserve monetary tightening.
The Hang Seng Index dived 1.6 percent, or 321 points, to 20,075.
The Shanghai Composite Index fell 2 percent, or 65 points, to 3,301, while the Shenzhen Composite Index sank 2.5 percent, or 51 points, to 2,066. (AFP)
