A crocodile was seized in Pat Heung in the New Territories on Sunday afternoon.
A resident there notified the police at around 1pm, saying she spotted a crocodile about one-metre-long outside her home.
Police and officers from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department arrived at the scene and managed to seize the reptile at around 5.30pm.
The last time a crocodile was found in Hong Kong was in Bride’s Pool in Tai Po in 2019.
