Hong Kong stocks opened slightly lower on Tuesday morning following a healthy run-up the previous day, with little inspiration from a tepid lead out of Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.22 percent at 20,252.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.22 percent, or 7.39 points, to 3,402, while the Shenzhen Composite Index eased 0.18 percent, or 3.71 points, at 2,043. (AFP)
