Hong Kong's new electronic auto-toll system will be extended to cover the Shing Mun Tunnels from May 21 and the Lion Rock Tunnel from May 28, transport officials said on Monday.
Drivers will no longer need to stop at the tunnels' toll booths to pay the fees, regardless of whether or not they have the tag which comes with the HKeToll system.
Motorists without a tag will be sent a bill after their vehicle's licence plate is scanned.
Last week, HKeToll was introduced at the Eagle's Nest, Sha Tin Heights and Tai Wai tunnels.
