Sheets soaked in liquid cocaine found in drugs bust

Customs have arrested a 66-year-old man, after seizing 10 kilos of suspected liquid cocaine at Hong Kong International Airport.

The man had flown in from Sao Paulo via Paris and, during a customs check on Sunday, officers found 17 bed sheets soaked with the suspected cocaine in his suitcase.

The drugs have a street value of about HK$8 million.

Customs have since arrested a 54-year-old woman in Tin Shui Wai in connection with the case.
