Seven people pleaded guilty on Monday to charges of rioting in relation to the storming of the Legislative Council complex nearly four years ago.
Among them is Ventus Lau, who's also facing national security charges for his participation in an unofficial primary election in 2020.
The seven were among 13 people who went on trial at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts on Monday over the ransacking of Hong Kong's legislature on July 1, 2019.
The defendants range in age from 19 to 42.
