Police said on Monday that they detained more than 20 people for breaching the peace and public order offences.
They said they detained 23 people - 11 males and 12 females between the ages of 20 and 74.
They said the 23 were taken to the police station but were not arrested, and were later released.
Police said they also arrested a 53-year-old female for obstructing a police officer.
Earlier, police said they arrested four people in Causeway Bay on Saturday on suspicion of disorder in public places and doing an act or acts with seditious intention.
They said four others suspected of breaching public peace were brought to the police station for further investigation.
