A 67-year-old cleaner has been injured after a metal gate collapsed at Tsuen Wan West Sports Centre on Thursday evening.

The man, who was still conscious, was sent to Yan Chai Hospital.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department says it is highly concerned by the accident, which occurred at about 7 pm. It says it has informed the Architectural Services Department and asked it to inspect similar gates.

A car, parked nearby, was also damaged.
