Hong Kong stocks kicked off Friday with losses after another round of strong US data added further pressure on the Federal Reserve to keep hiking interest rates as it tries to tame inflation.
The Hang Seng Index dropped 0.28 percent, or 52.93 points, to 18,881.43.
The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.11 percent, or 3.46 points, to 3,178.92, while the Shenzhen Composite Index lost 0.10 percent, or 2.07 points, to 2025.25. (AFP)
