Hong Kong stocks tumbled more than one percent at the beginning of trade Thursday after minutes from the Fed's latest policy meeting showed officials were likely to resume hiking interest rates this month.
The Hang Seng Index sank 1.41 percent to 18,840.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.22 percent to 3,216 while the Shenzhen Composite Index on the mainland's second exchange slipped 0.23 percent to 2,046.82. (AFP)
