Hong Kong and Shanghai stocks rose on Tuesday after mainland authorities signalled fresh moves to support the economy after unveiling measures to help the property sector.
The Hang Seng Index rose 1 percent, or 180 points, to 18,659.
The Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.6 percent, or 17 points, to 3,221, while the Shenzhen Composite Index gained 0.8 percent, or 16 points, to 2,052. (AFP)
