RTHK on Wednesday learnt that seven correctional officers have been arrested in relation to a suspected rape.

It is understood that a woman reported to police that she was raped while drunk in a party room in Tsim Sha Tsui on Saturday.

The Correctional Services Department confirmed that seven workers have been suspended, adding that it would not condone any behaviour that violates the law.

The police confirmed to RTHK that they'd received a report of a rape from a 31-year-old woman. They said they'd detained seven men between the ages of 23 and 38 for questioning, but offered no further details.
