Three women were taken to hospital with burns and one also had a knife wound after an incident at a block of flats in Tsz Wan Shan on Sunday afternoon.

Police said they received multiple calls from Tsz Lok Estate at around 3.35pm.

A fire had broken out at a unit in Lok Shun House. It was quickly put out and residents did not need to leave their homes, officers said.

Meanwhile, police found a woman wandering around inside the building with a knife. She was arrested on suspicion of wounding.

The three injured women were said to be in a conscious state when they were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

The woman with the knife was also taken to hospital, officers said.
