A 60-year-old taxi driver died on Tuesday after his vehicle ran into the back of a stationary crane truck on Gloucester Road in Causeway Bay.

Four others were injured and sent to hospital, three in an unconscious state. They included a three-year girl, who remained conscious.

Police said the accident happened at around 8 pm.

The front of the taxi crumpled under the force of the impact.
