Hong Kong stocks closed with another big loss on Friday as a below-forecast US inflation report was unable to soothe worries about the Federal Reserve's interest rate plans, while traders were also rattled by China's economic woes.
The Hang Seng Index lost 0.9 percent, or 173 points, to 19,075.
The Shanghai Composite Index fell 2 percent, or 65 points, to 3,189, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange sank 1.9 percent, or 39 points, to 2,002. (AFP)
