A man was run over by a truck and killed on Monday after getting out of his car following a collision near the Tai Lam Tunnel in Tsuen Wan.
Police said the 53-year-old was driving towards Kowloon at around 6.30am when he rammed into a car being driven by a 36-year-old man.
The older man got out to check his vehicle following the smash and was struck from behind by an HGV.
He was certified dead around an hour later after being taken to hospital.
The truck driver, 32, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death, police said.
