The last of the so-called "Hong Kong 12" who were caught by the Guangdong coastguard during an alleged attempt to flee to Taiwan by speedboat has been brought back to the territory from the mainland.
Tang Kai-yin was jailed for three years after a mainland court found him guilty of organising the crossing in 2020.
The group was found to have entered mainland waters illegally.
On Tuesday, Tang was handed over to Hong Kong police and taken to Tin Shui Wai Police Station.
He's due to appear in the District Court on Wednesday in connection with being "re-arrested on warrant".
Some of the others in the group have been convicted over the 2019 protests and jailed again in Hong Kong since their return.
One of them, Andy Li, is awaiting sentence after pleading guilty to colluding with foreign forces to endanger national security in a case that also involves former media tycoon Jimmy Lai.
