Police on Sunday said they had arrested two men and a woman suspected of running cannabis farms in industrial buildings in Yau Tong and Kwai Chung.
Officers said they seized 733 cannabis plants worth around HK$20 million from two buildings on Thursday and Friday.
"From what we've gathered during investigation, these two cannabis farm have been operating for around nine months. So far there's no intelligence showing the cannabis has made it to the market," said inspector Cheung Wing-shum.
The two men, aged 34 and 37, are suspected of managing the weed farms, while a 36-year-old woman is a tenant of the Kwai Chung unit, the force said.
The two men are due to appear before Kwun Tong Magistracy on Monday.
The force said one of the men is also accused of obstructing the police after he allegedly tried to escape arrest.
