Hong Kong shares closed in the red on Tuesday, dragged by tech firms, as investors prepared for the release of US inflation data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index lost 0.4 percent, or 70 points, to 18,025.
The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.2 percent, or 5 points, to 3,137, while the Shenzhen Composite Index eased 0.1 percent, or 1 point, to 1,951. (AFP)
