A traffic accident injured four people and caused a major traffic jam on the airport-bound portion of the Lantau Link on Monday morning.

The incident, which occurred at 8am on Tsing Ma Bridge, involved three private cars and two taxis.

The Transport Department advised motorists to take alternative routes.

It said people travelling to Tung Chung and the airport should consider using public transport such as the MTR.
