Hong Kong's unemployment rate has held steady at 2.8 percent, remaining at its lowest level in four years.
Government data released on Tuesday showed that the jobless rate for the June to August period stayed the same as that of the May to July period.
The underemployment rate, meanwhile, fell by 0.1 percentage points to 1.0 percent.
In a statement, the government said sectors including food and beverage, construction, transport, and insurance recorded falls in unemployment.
But the jobless rate of the retail sector edged up by 0.1 percentage points to 3.4 percent.
"The ongoing recovery of inbound tourism and local consumption would continue to support the labour market in the coming months," labour minister Chris Sun said.
