Four people were injured in a five-vehicle pile-up on Wednesday that brought traffic chaos to Southern District.
Three private cars, a taxi and a truck collided on Aberdeen Praya Road at around 7:40am. Three drivers and a passenger were taken to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment.
Some lanes going in the direction of Wah Fu Estate were closed at one point.
School pupil Stephanie said she was about half an hour late getting to class in Pok Fu Lam because of the accident.
"When we just start moving, we drove past this truck and this truck had the window next to the driver's seat was smashed. The front window was cracked at the corner and it seemed like it hit something and one of its lights was completely broken and demolished," she said.
"It didn't look like anyone was hurt and after a while, we continued moving on. It was congested for up until the start of the incline on the side of the hill."
