Hong Kong shares opened lower on Thursday following losses on Wall Street fuelled by expectations the Federal Reserve will hike interest rates again this year and keep them elevated for an extended period.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.5 percent to 17,795.
The Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.2 percent to 3,103, and the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange fell 0.2 percent to 1,889. (AFP)
