Hong Kong stocks finished higher on Wednesday after two days of steep losses, with sentiment weighed by speculation the Federal Reserve will lift interest rates further to tackle inflation.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.8 percent, or 144 points, to close at 17,611.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.2 percent, or 5 points, to 3,107, while the Shenzhen Composite Index gained 0.4 percent, or 7 points, to 1,901. (AFP)
