Hong Kong stocks rose at the open on Friday, following a positive lead from Wall Street, as bargain-buyers stepped in at the end of another painful week for markets.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.6 percent to 17,484.
The Shanghai Composite Index inched up 0.1 percent to 3,110, while the Shenzhen Composite Index edged up 0.4 percent to 1,910. ((AFP)
