Hong Kong stocks finished sharply lower on Tuesday over concerns the Federal Reserve could keep interest rates higher for longer.

The Hang Seng Index dropped 2.7 percent, or 478 points, to 17,331.

Mainland markets were closed for a holiday. (AFP)
