Five construction workers and a police officer have been injured by a wild boar which turned up at a Wan Chai building site on Thursday morning.
Police said they received a report at 8.23am that the wild pig was wandering on the lower floors of a building under construction on Stubbs Road.
The force said the animal, measuring one-metre in length, struck an officer who arrived to investigate the case, before leaving the building site.
Five construction workers also suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Dozens of workers were evacuated from the site at one point.
