Franchised bus companies say they will suspend their services several hours after the No.8 typhoon signal is issued on Sunday afternoon.
Citybus said it will stop running the majority of its daytime routes from 2:40pm, adding that passengers should check their latest announcements online before heading out.
KMB and Long Win Bus, meanwhile, announced they will stop most of their daytime services from 3pm.
