Hong Kong stocks jumped more than one percent at the open on Monday after data on cooling US jobs growth ramped up optimism that the Federal Reserve would not hike interest rates anytime soon.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 1.41 percent to 17,914.
The Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.54 percent to 3,047, and the Shenzhen Composite Index on the mainland's second exchange added 0.60 percent to 1,886. (AFP)
