A man has been arrested on suspicion of indecently assaulting a secondary school pupil.

According to the police, the schoolgirl said she was assaulted during an exchange programme on the mainland earlier.

The suspect, 43, was arrested by the police on Tuesday evening.

The alleged victim attends a secondary school in Tin Shui Wai.

The Education Bureau said the school has notified the authorities of the case and set up a crisis management team. The bureau also said it would follow up on the matter.
