A project manager accused of understating the weight of a video panel that fell and injured dancers at a MIRROR concert last year has indicated that he will plead not guilty in relation to the incident.

Joseph Leung, who is accused of conspiracy to defraud, appeared in the District Court on Thursday.

Two co-defendants in the case earlier indicated that they will also plead not guilty to the charge.

Chief District Judge Justin Ko scheduled the men's trial for October 16 next year.

A giant video screen came crashing down onto the stage during a concert by the boyband at the Hong Kong Coliseum in July last year.

Two dancers were injured in the incident, one of them seriously.
