Hong Kong stocks dropped on Thursday, giving back some of the previous day's near-four percent rally as profit-takers moved in on a subdued day for Asian markets.
The Hang Seng Index sank 1.4 percent, or 246 points, to 17,832.
The Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.7 percent, or 21 points, to 3,050, and the Shenzhen Composite Index shed 1 percent, or 19 points, to 1,915. (AFP)
