Hong Kong stocks rallied at the opening on Monday morning, bouncing back from hefty losses at the end of last week on renewed optimism the Federal Reserve will not hike interest rates again in the near term.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.98 percent, or 171.65 points, to 17,625.84.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.08 percent, or 2.56 points, to 3,056.93, and the Shenzhen Composite Index added 0.11 percent, or 2.03 points, to 1,925.99. (AFP)
