The Housing Society on Wednesday announced that 422 government-subsidised flats on Anderson Road will be put up for sale at between HK$2.5 million and HK$6.4 million.
The housing project in East Kowloon, named Hemma Amber, includes two 14-storey blocks and offers one to three-bedroom units, with a saleable area ranging from 303 to 658 square feet.
The flats will be sold at 62 percent of their market value – the same as those under the Home Ownership Scheme.
A general manager with the society, Peter Or, said he expects strong demand despite the weak overall property market.
"There are still a lot of user demand and our development is a very good one, in a new development area with a lot of facilities and [a good] environment," he said.
Applications for the homes will be received from November 30 to December 13, from “green form” applicants who live in public housing and “white form” applicants who have a limited monthly income.
